Author Guideline and Online Submissions

Steps for Online Submission – Journal of Teacher Education and Pedagogy (JTEP)

To submit a manuscript to Journal of Teacher Education and Pedagogy (JTEP), authors must first register and log in to the journal's online submission system. Once logged in, follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Start the Submission

Complete the submission checklist to ensure the manuscript complies with JTEP’s submission guidelines. Authors may also include comments for the Editor in the designated field.

Step 2 – Upload the Manuscript

Click the “Choose File” button to upload your manuscript file (.doc or .docx), then click “Upload” to submit the file.

Step 3 – Enter Submission Metadata

Fill in all required metadata, including:

  • Full name of each author

  • Institutional affiliation

  • Email address

  • Designation of corresponding author

Copy and paste the manuscript title, abstract, and keywords into the appropriate fields.

Step 4 – Upload Supplementary Files

Upload supporting documents such as:

  • Cover Letter

  • Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement

If no additional files are required, click “Save and Continue.”

Step 5 – Confirm Submission

Review all uploaded files and metadata. If everything is correct, click “Finish Submission.” The corresponding author will receive a confirmation email and may track the manuscript’s progress through their JTEP account.


Author Guidelines – Journal of Teacher Education and Pedagogy (JTEP)

General Information

  • All manuscripts must be submitted through the JTEP online system.

  • Manuscripts should be written in English.

  • The length of the manuscript should be 10–15 pages, including figures and tables.

  • Use the official JTEP manuscript template.

Manuscript Structure

1. Title

  • Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt, Bold, Centered

2. Author Details

  • Name: 10 pt, Bold, Centered

  • Affiliation: 10 pt, Centered

  • Email: 10 pt, Italic, Centered

3. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract (max. 250 words) in English and Bahasa Indonesia

  • Keywords: 3–5 words

  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced

4. Main Body

  • Introduction

  • Method

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced

  • Use first-line indentation (0.5 cm) for all paragraphs (except the first paragraph of each section)

5. References

  • Follow APA 7th edition citation style

  • Use reference management tools (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced, hanging indent (1 cm)

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review. Authors will be informed of the review outcome within a maximum of 3 months.


Revision and Resubmission

Revised manuscripts must be submitted within 8 weeks of receiving reviewer feedback. Submissions delayed beyond this period will be considered as new submissions.
