Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning, published by Pusat Publikasi, upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious breach of publication ethics and is strictly prohibited. All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Authors are expected to properly cite and reference all sources and materials that have influenced their work, whether directly quoted or paraphrased.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following: copying text, ideas, images, data, or other content from another source without appropriate attribution; using someone else's work as one’s own; submitting a manuscript that is substantially similar to a previously published work by the same author (self-plagiarism); and misrepresenting authorship or contributions. The journal uses reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate) to screen all submissions prior to the peer-review process. Manuscripts found to contain significant levels of plagiarism will be immediately rejected. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the article may be retracted, and further actions may be taken in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be blacklisted from submitting to the journal for a certain period and, if affiliated with academic institutions, their misconduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. To maintain transparency and trust, the journal strongly encourages all authors to review their manuscripts carefully for originality and proper citation before submission. Editors and reviewers are also encouraged to report any suspected plagiarism they encounter during the review process.

By submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning, authors affirm that their work is free of plagiarism and that they are fully responsible for the content presented. The editorial board remains committed to promoting a culture of academic honesty, fostering original research, and ensuring the integrity of scholarly communication.
