Peer Review Process

The Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning, published by Pusat Publikasi, upholds a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the academic integrity and quality of all submitted manuscripts. Once a manuscript is submitted, it undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to verify its relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and adherence to submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary check are then subjected to a double-blind peer review, in which both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other in order to prevent any potential bias. Each submission is typically reviewed by two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as clarity of research objectives, soundness of methodology, significance of findings, coherence of analysis, and relevance to current issues in education and learning. Reviewers may recommend acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection. The editorial team considers the reviewers’ comments and makes the final decision on the manuscript. Authors are provided with constructive feedback and are encouraged to revise and resubmit if necessary. The entire peer review process aims to be completed within 6 to 8 weeks, ensuring both efficiency and thoroughness. The journal is committed to ethical publishing practices and follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines throughout the review and publication stages.
