This journal is published and distributed by PUBLICATION CENTER, starting from Volume 1, Number 1, 2022.

Peer Review Process
International Linguistics and TESOL Journal is an open-access e-journal published by Publication Center in collaboration with Bali Business School. This journal serves as a platform for researchers, educators, and language practitioners to share their findings in the fields of linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
Research articles submitted to this journal will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by at least two (2) independent reviewers to ensure high academic standards and research integrity. The accepted articles will be published online following the completion of the peer-review and editorial process.

The Editor-in-Chief of the International Linguistics and TESOL Journal is responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts are suitable for publication. This decision is based on the manuscript’s quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope. The editors must ensure that all published research contributes to the academic community and aligns with the journal’s objectives.
Editorial decisions are guided by the journal’s editorial policies and ethical standards, while also adhering to legal requirements related to defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editorial team may consult with external reviewers, other editors, or experts when necessary.
Fair Play
Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on their intellectual merit, significance, and clarity of presentation, without discrimination based on the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic background, nationality, or political affiliations.
Confidentiality
The editorial team must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts. Information about a submitted paper must not be shared with anyone except the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished data or findings from a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s personal research without the explicit written consent of the authors. Editors must recuse themselves from handling papers where they have conflicts of interest, whether due to personal, financial, or professional relationships with the authors or institutions associated with the manuscript.
Duties of Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review is a crucial part of the editorial process, assisting the editor in making informed decisions and helping authors improve the quality of their work through constructive feedback.
Timeliness
Reviewers who feel unqualified to assess a manuscript or who cannot complete a review within the required timeframe should promptly inform the editor and decline the review.
Confidentiality
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose or discuss the manuscript with others, except with editorial authorization.
Objectivity Standards
Reviews must be conducted objectively, focusing on the quality of the manuscript rather than personal opinions about the author(s). Any criticism should be constructive and supported by clear arguments.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant works that are not cited by the authors and notify the editor if they detect substantial similarity between the submitted manuscript and any previously published work. Any form of plagiarism should be reported immediately.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Privileged information obtained during the review process must remain confidential and must not be used for personal gain. Reviewers should not evaluate manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or personal relationships with any of the authors, institutions, or funding agencies involved.
Duties of Authors
Reporting Standards
Authors must provide an accurate and objective account of their research, including sufficient details and references to allow for reproducibility. Misrepresentation of data or results constitutes unethical behavior and is unacceptable.
Data Access and Retention
Authors may be required to provide the raw data supporting their study for editorial review and should be prepared to make such data publicly available if necessary.
Originality and Plagiarism
Manuscripts submitted to the International Linguistics and TESOL Journal must be original. If authors use the work or words of others, they must properly cite and reference the sources. Plagiarism in any form is unethical and unacceptable.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously. Submitting previously published research as original work is also prohibited.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Proper credit must be given to all sources that influenced the research. Authors should ensure that all cited works are appropriately acknowledged in their manuscript.
Authorship of the Manuscript

Fundamental Errors in Published Works
If an author discovers a significant error in their published work, they must immediately notify the journal’s editor and cooperate in retracting or correcting the paper.

Authors conducting research involving human participants, including language learners, should ensure that their study follows ethical guidelines. Any research involving surveys, interviews, or classroom observations must obtain informed consent from participants and adhere to institutional or national research ethics standards.

Article Processing Charge (APC)
Articles published in the International Linguistics and TESOL Journal are not subject to any processing charges. Authors are not required to pay fees for the editing process, peer review, layout formatting, color figures, or the number of pages. The journal is committed to promoting open-access research and ensuring accessibility for scholars worldwide.
However, if authors require a printed version of the journal, they will be charged only for the printing and postage costs, which vary depending on the shipping destination.
Submission Charge
Submitting an article to the International Linguistics and TESOL Journal is completely free of charge. There are no fees for manuscript submission, initial screening, or peer review.
