Article Processing Charge (APC)

The World Journal of Corpus Linguistics applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for articles that are accepted and published after the review and editing process. This fee covers article editing, formatting adjustments, image and color modifications if necessary, data verification, language editing, and formatting the article to meet the journal’s standards.

However, this APC does not cover printing costs. If the author chooses to obtain a print version of the journal containing their article, an additional fee will be charged only for printing and postage costs. These costs are calculated based on the applicable printing rates and shipping fees, which may vary depending on the delivery location.

Authors will be provided with detailed information about printing and postage fees once their article has been accepted and processed for publication. We also offer options to print in limited quantities or as part of a special edition.

Submission Charge

Submission of articles to the World Journal of Corpus Linguistics is free of charge. Authors can submit their articles without any initial payment. The submission process is entirely free, and no fees will be requested when submitting an article for the first time.

We welcome contributions from authors and researchers to enhance the quality of the journal, and therefore we do not impose any charges for article submission. Each submission will undergo a thorough selection process conducted by a panel of qualified reviewers. Accepted articles will then proceed for publication after passing the evaluation stage.

Review Process and Publication Decision

Each submitted article will undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality and relevance of the article within the scope of the World Journal of Corpus Linguistics. This process ensures that the published articles significantly contribute to the field of corpus linguistics and meet high academic standards.

Authors will be informed of the status of their article once the review process is complete, whether it is accepted for publication, requires revisions, or is rejected. This process may take a few weeks depending on the number of articles currently under review.
